Hailsham Hockey Club are looking to initially raise around £25,000 to contribute towards the resurfacing of its home pitch at Hailsham Community College. This along with funds from the school and other organisations will enable the existing pitch to be resurfaced. This will secure the future of the club and also provide a much valued facility for not only the Hockey Club but also the school and wider community that use it. The hockey club has made the school its home since the original pitch was laid over 20 years ago. The surface is well beyond its intended life and is close to not being playable. Please help us secure the future of hockey in Hailsham by supporting this campaign.

£100 - Thank You Banner. We are producing a banner we will display at all home games for the 2024/25 season. This will include your logo | 10 available
£250 - Team Social Media Sponsor. Your logo will be included on all social media posts specific to that team for the rest of this season and 2024/25 | Women's 2 and Women's 3 currently still available.
FUNDRAISING FOR US
Either join in with one of our fundraisers or come up with your own! If you want to raise money on our behalf simply use the 'Start Fundraising' link on our Crowdfunder page. When taking sponsorships please encourage UK tax payers to complete their information so we can claim Gift Aid. A paper sponsorship form that fulfils this requirement is available below in the documents section however it would be great if you can get your sponsorship via our online platform so we can potentially get match funding too. Here are some events we are taking part in you might want to consider:
> Pier to Pier Sponsored Walk | Sunday 17th March 2024 | Club lead: Michelle Page
A group of club members and supporters will be looking to walk from Hastings Pier to Eastbourne Pier in spring 2024. This walk follows the 15 miles (24 km) of coastline between Hastings and Eastbourne. It is in 3 parts - 2 seafront promenades with a quiet shingle beach in between. We are also planning on doing some litter picking on the way! The club chair has also suggested there is a good pub at the halfway stage. Participants must be adults or accompanied by their parent or guardian if under 16.
> Eastbourne Half Marathon | Sunday 3rd March 2024 | Club lead: Molly Bartlett
We're hoping to gather a team of people to take part in the Eastbourne Half Marathon. You would need to sign up independently here: https://eastbournehalfmarathon.blog/. If you raise £300 or more via your fundraising page linked to our club Crowdfunder pages then we will refund your entry fee of £37.70. Participants need to be 17+ to enter. SUPPORT OUR SOCIAL EVENTS
We will be holding a number of club social events from family quizzes to pub golf. It's a great way to socialise whilst raising funds for the club's Pitch In campaign. More details of these will appear here.
