Hailsham Ladies 1st Team have won the Sussex Hockey Association Ladies Premier League with one match remaining. The team who only gained promotion to the Sussex Premier league in the 2013/14 season have now gained promotion to the South Tier 3 for 2019/20. Hailsham who finished second last season had the title and promotion as their goal for the season and strong numbers across both teams this year helped make that a reality. It’s been a great season so far for the ladies 1st team. They find themselves top with only goal difference separating Hailsham and Brighton 2s. Hailsham play Brighton 2s this coming weekend which could prove decisive in separating the teams at the end of the season. Six matches remain. UPDATE 23/02/19. Hailsham drew against Brighton 3-3 so are still all square on points with 5 matches to go.

This year’s end of season awards, dinner and dance for the adult section of the club will take place on Saturday 6th April 2019 at the East Sussex National. You can purchase your place at this event through your captain or a committee member. £35 includes your meal and after party. Dress code is ‘dress to impress’. The night will also feature the club’s annual awards presentations.
