Hailsham’s ladies 2s faced the long journey to Chichester on Saturday. The game saw just a single goal with Hailsham taking the win. As shown the ball was passed across the D by C.Duff and confidently put away by L.Meacher. The 1-0 win sees Hailsham leapfrog Chichester to 5th in Sussex Div 2.

The men’s 2nd team had a morning start away to Worthing 4s. The team came away with a 2-2 draw with C.Cable scoring both of Hailsham’s goals. Both were the result of penalty corners with assists coming from S. Baldwin for both.

Starting at home were the ladies 1s who were taking on bottom of the league Tulse Hill & Dulwich. Hailsham had some early chances but failed to capitalise. Tulse Hill & Dulwich managed to find the Hailsham goal twice before the end of the first half before the rain caused the pitch to become difficult and slow. Both keepers were kept busy with both teams having opportunities to score more. The game ended 2-0 to the travelling team.

With the weather conditions worsening and the rain setting in for the afternoon the men’s and Millers matches had to be abandoned due to the level of surface water.
