Hailsham’s ladies 1st team finished in their highest position in recent history with 2nd place being secured after a 4-3 victory against local contenders Brighton 2nds. Chichester 1st team ran away with the league with a positive goal difference of a huge 139 goals and 20 wins. The real tussle was for 2nd place and Hailsham dug deep to produce the goods.

The team this year benefited from some youth coming through from the Millers and a new formation. The end of season awards recognised the efforts of new first team keeper Trin Moore who helped Hailsham become one of only four teams to have a positive goal difference for the season. Also recognised was Riley Wootten as Most Improved and Phoebe White as Most Promising.

A thank you for all the fixture admin, coaching support and umpires for the 2017/18 season. A great season.
